The official Insta360 Store lists the following items in the Ultimate Videography Bundle:
- Insta360 Ace Pro 2 camera
- Wind Guard
- 2 Γ Batteries
- Standard Mount
- Mic Cap
- USB‑C to USB‑C Cable
- Xplorer Grip Pro Kit
- Flip Screen Hood
- Ultra Wide Lens
- Cinematic Lens
- Close‑Up Lens
- Black Mist Filter
- Star Filter
This makes the Ultimate Videography Bundle a much more complete package than buying the camera alone.
The key attraction is the combination of three additional lenses and two creative filters, which gives creators considerably more control over how their footage looks.
Insta360 Ace Pro 2: 8K Action Camera
The Ace Pro 2 is built around a 1/1.3‑inch 8K sensor and a Leica SUMMARIT lens.
It can record up to 8K at 30fps, while 4K recording can reach 120fps for slow‑motion footage. It also supports 4K Active HDR at up to 60fps and PureVideo low‑light recording up to 4K60fps.
This makes the Ace Pro 2 suitable for:
- YouTube videos
- Travel vlogs
- Motorcycle videos
- Cycling
- Hiking
- Adventure sports
- Street photography
- Cinematic videos
- Social media content
- Professional action footage
Unlike a 360‑degree camera such as the Insta360 X6, the Ace Pro 2 is a conventional forward‑facing action camera. This means it can concentrate its image quality on the direction you're shooting.
Leica SUMMARIT Lens
One of the key features of the Ace Pro 2 is its Leica SUMMARIT lens.
The lens is designed to provide high‑quality images with strong detail and color reproduction while maintaining the rugged characteristics expected from an action camera.
The 1/1.3‑inch sensor and Leica optical system also contribute to the camera's ability to capture high‑quality footage in a wide range of lighting conditions.
For creators, the combination of Leica optics and Insta360's computational imaging makes the Ace Pro 2 particularly attractive for cinematic travel and outdoor content.
8K30fps Video Recording
The Ace Pro 2 supports 8K video at up to 30fps.
8K provides additional resolution for creators who want to crop footage or produce high‑resolution videos.
It is particularly useful when:
- Recording landscapes
- Creating cinematic travel footage
- Capturing detailed outdoor scenes
- Cropping footage during editing
- Producing high‑resolution YouTube content
For everyday action footage, 4K recording may be more practical, but 8K gives professional creators additional flexibility.
4K120fps Slow Motion
The Ace Pro 2 can record 4K at up to 120fps.
High‑frame‑rate recording is useful for creating smooth slow‑motion footage.
For example, you can use 4K120fps for:
- Motorcycle riding
- Mountain biking
- Skateboarding
- Water sports
- Running
- Sports
- Adventure activities
- Cinematic movement shots
The footage can then be slowed down during editing to create smoother and more dramatic sequences.
PureVideo Low‑Light Performance
Low‑light recording is another major strength of the Ace Pro 2.
The camera supports PureVideo up to 4K60fps, using its dedicated imaging hardware and AI processing to improve noise reduction and brightness in challenging lighting.
This is useful for:
- Night walks
- City streets
- Concerts
- Indoor events
- Night travel
- Evening motorcycle rides
- Low‑light vlogging
For creators who regularly shoot after sunset, the Ace Pro 2 can provide a significant advantage over many basic action cameras.
Dual AI Chip System
The Ace Pro 2 uses a dedicated Pro Imaging Chip together with a 5nm AI Chip.
According to Insta360, this dual‑chip architecture provides a substantial increase in computing capability compared with the previous Ace Pro. The system is used for image processing, noise reduction and AI‑related functions.
This processing power helps the Ace Pro 2 handle demanding modes such as:
- 8K recording
- PureVideo
- Active HDR
- Noise reduction
- AI‑assisted editing
- Image enhancement
2.5‑Inch Flip Touchscreen
The Ace Pro 2 features a 2.5‑inch flip touchscreen with 329 PPI and up to 900 nits brightness according to Insta360's specifications.
The flip design is particularly useful for:
- Selfie videos
- Vlogging
- YouTube content
- Talking‑head videos
- Travel content
- Low‑angle shooting
You can flip the display toward yourself to see the framing while recording.
This is one of the reasons the Ace Pro 2 works well as both an action camera and a compact vlogging camera.
FlowState Stabilization and 360Β° Horizon Lock
The Ace Pro 2 uses FlowState Stabilization and 360Β° Horizon Lock to produce smoother footage during movement.
This is particularly useful when recording:
- Cycling
- Motorcycling
- Hiking
- Running
- Skiing
- Adventure sports
- Travel walks
The combination helps reduce unwanted camera movement while keeping the horizon more stable.
Xplorer Grip Pro Kit
The Xplorer Grip Pro Kit is one of the biggest additions to the Ultimate Videography Bundle.
It provides a more camera‑like shooting experience and adds physical controls for creators who want more direct control over their footage.
The grip includes controls for functions such as shooting and zoom, while its integrated battery can extend the camera's operating time during supported recording modes.
This makes the setup more comfortable for handheld shooting and street photography.
Ultra Wide Lens
The included Ultra Wide Lens allows creators to achieve a wider perspective than the standard lens.
It can be useful for:
- Architecture
- Landscapes
- Travel
- Group shots
- Vlogging
- Tight spaces
- Action sports
A wider field of view can make dramatic landscapes feel more expansive and can be useful when you need to fit more subjects into the frame.
Cinematic Lens
The Cinematic Lens is designed for creators who want a more cinematic visual style.
It can help produce a distinctive look compared with standard action‑camera footage.
This is useful for:
- Short films
- Travel films
- Music videos
- Cinematic YouTube videos
- Street filmmaking
- Creative photography
For creators who want to move beyond conventional action‑camera footage, this lens is one of the most important additions in the Ultimate Bundle.
Close‑Up Lens
The Close‑Up Lens provides another creative shooting option.
It can be useful when you want to bring the camera closer to a subject and create a more detailed perspective.
Potential uses include:
- Product videos
- Food photography
- Small objects
- Creative portraits
- Detail shots
- Macro‑style content
This gives the Ace Pro 2 more versatility than a standard action camera.
Black Mist Filter
The Black Mist Filter is designed for creators who want a softer, more cinematic image.
It can help create a subtle glow around highlights and reduce the clinical appearance that can sometimes be associated with digital action‑camera footage.
This can be particularly effective for:
- Night street scenes
- Portraits
- Cinematic travel videos
- City lights
- Music videos
Star Filter
The Star Filter provides another creative effect by producing a starburst effect around strong light sources.
It can be particularly interesting for nighttime photography and videos featuring:
- Street lights
- Headlights
- Neon signs
- Decorative lights
- City scenes
Together, the Black Mist and Star filters give creators more creative control over the final appearance of their footage.
Battery Life
The Ace Pro 2 uses an 1,800mAh battery.
Insta360's laboratory measurements show approximately 64 minutes at 8K30fps, around 68 minutes at 4K120fps, and around 81 minutes at 4K60fps under specified conditions. Actual battery life varies according to settings, temperature and other factors.
The Ultimate Videography Bundle includes two batteries, which is useful for creators recording long sessions.
The camera can also be used while charging. Insta360 lists approximately 112 minutes of runtime under its 4K30 testing conditions for the camera.
Waterproof Action Camera
The Ace Pro 2 is designed for outdoor use and is waterproof to approximately 12 meters without a dive case. Insta360's specifications list a 12m waterproof depth for the Ace Pro 2.
This makes it suitable for:
- Rain
- Swimming
- Beach trips
- Water sports
- Adventure activities
- Outdoor travel
For deeper underwater recording, an appropriate dive case should be used.
Insta360 Ace Pro 2 Ultimate vs Standard Bundle
The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 Standard Bundle is the basic package for users who want the camera itself without a large collection of creative accessories. It includes the Ace Pro 2, two batteries, Standard Mount, Mic Cap, USB‑C cable, and pre‑installed Wind Guard. The camera itself remains the same, so you get the same 8K imaging, Leica SUMMARIT lens, 2.5‑inch flip touchscreen, and low‑light performance as the more expensive bundles.
The Ace Pro 2 Ultimate Videography Bundle is designed for creators who want a much more complete filmmaking setup. Along with the camera and two batteries, it adds the Xplorer Grip Pro Kit, Flip Screen Hood, Ultra Wide Lens, Cinematic Lens, Close‑Up Lens, Black Mist Filter, and Star Filter. These accessories provide considerably more creative flexibility for landscapes, portraits, macro/close‑up shots, cinematic footage, and stylized photography.
In short: choose the Standard Bundle if you mainly need the Ace Pro 2 camera and want to keep the cost and accessories to a minimum. Choose the Ultimate Videography Bundle if you are a serious content creator who wants multiple lenses, filters, enhanced grip/control, and a complete creative setup.
Insta360 Ace Pro 2 Ultimate vs Videography Bundle Limited Edition
The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 Ultimate Videography Bundle is the more complete package for creators who want maximum flexibility. Both bundles include the same Ace Pro 2 camera, two batteries, Xplorer Grip Pro Kit, Flip Screen Hood, Standard Mount, Mic Cap, USB‑C cable, and Wind Guard. The key difference is the lens and filter selection: the Ultimate Bundle adds three lensesβUltra Wide, Cinematic, and Close‑Upβplus Black Mist and Star filters. This makes it suitable for landscapes, portraits, macro/close‑up shots, cinematic footage, and creative photography.
The Videography Bundle Limited Edition is a more streamlined package. It includes only the Cinematic Lens and Black Mist Filter, making it better suited to creators who primarily want a cinematic look without carrying multiple lenses. Insta360 describes it as a minimalist, streamlined option, while the Ultimate Bundle is aimed at versatile creators who want an all‑in‑one professional setup.
In short: choose the Videography Bundle Limited Edition if you mainly want cinematic footage and a simpler kit. Choose the Ultimate Videography Bundle if you want the widest range of creative shooting options and multiple lenses/filters for different situations.
